MUSIC of PHILIP GLASS
Composer Philip Glass has written his first Sonata for Violin and Piano for
M. Bachmann and J. Klibonoff. They gave the world premiere on 2/28/09
at the Whitaker Center for The Market Square Concert Series. Glass has also arranged his 3rd Symphony, a symphony for strings, as a string sextet to be performed at Trio Solisti's festival, Telluride MusicFest, in 2009. The works are paired with a piano quintet of either Brahms or Franck, two of Glass's most beloved composers.

INTIMATE BRAHMS SERIES
This three concert series explores the piano chamber music of Johannes Brahms. The concerts include several guest artists, and the musicians give pre-concert talks about the works to be performed. Trio Solisti has presented this series at the famed Morgan Library in New York City.

KIDS PROGRAM
The Trio Solisti performs a program for children of all ages which includes music from a variety of countries to demonstrate that music is the Universal language. The Trio performs music of different time periods as well as nationalities bringing together an extremely colorful range of music.

Each member of the Trio tells their story of how they started to play their instruments and why they picked those particular instruments. They explain what chamber music is and talk about their lives as musicians. The children will also have an opportunity to ask questions. This entertaining program can be tailored to be 45 minutes to one hour in length.
